If we have learned anything is that being able to have a hybrid work life is that we have become happier and have learned what works best for us. According to the IWG Hybrid & Healthy Study Published June 2023 it “revealed how hybrid working is leading to a healthier, happier and more productive workforce, with employees exercising more, sleeping longer, eating better, and reporting better mental health.” According to IWG’s study, post pandemic and due to the new hybrid working model, the average hybrid worker is now moving more. They are getting 4.7 hours of exercise a week, compared to 3.4 hours before the pandemic; which is an increase of 38%. Good health and wellbeing are also part of the UN’s sustainable development goals for 2030. Lastly, the study revealed that almost four in five (79%) of the workers in IWG’s study said they had been more productive since switching to hybrid working, and nearly half attributed this to their decreased stress levels and increased time for relaxing and unwinding after work.

Having spent over three decades in Finance, owner Erica, saw this need years ago as she, too used the tools of Yoga and Mindfulness to manage her own stress , particularly after surviving 9/11. During the pandemic, she presented to many organizations the tools such as meditation, and breathe work as means of managing stress to avoid burn out. Hence this was the birth of the niche concept that you now know as El Segundo Nivel. She and her husband, Klod, made it possible to of these needs under one umbrella. Seeing this study and others and the recent unprecedented investments in corporations large and small in the mental health of their employees truly demonstrates a commitment to the betterment of the overall “health” of their organizations knowing if their employees are not “healthy;” the business is not functioning optimally.

Not all yoga and meditation is made the same, which is why we’ve created a dynamic selection of classes and video tutorials. Whether you’re looking for a full foundational class, Ashtanga Inspired sweaty flow, chair class, Iyengar Wall, Embodied Iyengar class, Yin and Sound bath, Yoga Nidra or a relaxing meditation, we’ve got the options you need to balance your practice. Erica teaches over 10 different styles and there are not enough class slots to plug them in every day. As we curate the weekly and bi-weekly class schedules, do not hesitate to make a request to see your favorite styles to be added to the schedule rotation.

Virtual Classes (Live and Library) - COMING SOON - Due to the nature of our visitors at the CoWorking Space, we WILL be adding LIVE Streamed Classes AND recording a series of classes to keep you all engaged with a Library of recorded classes.
